Risotto is Gabriele Lo Pinto's new dining establishment in the heart of South Minneapolis's thriving Lyn-Lake neighborhood. Bold flavors and classic ingredients make our menu an accessible choice for lunch or dinner. Menu items range from risotto, our signature dish in 4 made-to-order varieties, to an array of authentic Italian appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts.
The intimate dining room is splashed in warm yellow and crimson with elegant dark wood detailing, creating a comfortable atmosphere for casual dining. There is ample and affordable public parking within the neighborhood: metered parking, plus several pay-lots and some free street parking.

Sparkling-Vinchio-Vaglio Serra Verde Mare Frizzante
This Piedmonte wine is made with the great native white Cortese grape, which maintains some of the CO2 spritz from fermentation. It is dry and refreshing with a long finish.

-Pierpaolo Pecorari Friulano
Friuli is the region between Venice & Solvenia. The Friulano grape, recently called Tokai, is grown in 'Grave del Friuli,' where a few inches of topsoil cover 4 meters of gravel. The incredibly well-drained soil allows grapes to ripen, even in cool areas. Friulano's strong acidity and refreshing quality complement a wide variety of foods and generally better than Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio (which can be flabby & heavy).

-Chateau Oupia, Minervois
This French wine is grown on a hillside vineyard in the Languedoc, near the town of Minervois & is largely made from century-old Carignan vines that yield few grapes, but make a wine with real grip. It is blended with syrah and grenache grapes & has flavors of blackberry, briar and pepper.
